Will Blalock has signed with the Saint John Mill Rats in Canada’s NBL.
Blalock was waived prior to the start of the 2009-10 regular season by New Jersey.

The Bobcats have waived G Will Blalock.
The veteran got a look from the Bobcats during training camp, but wasn’t a serious consideration to make the team. Charlotte also waived Ronald Dupree and Ismail Muhammad.

The Detroit Pistons did not pick up Will Blalock’s contract option, making him an unrestricted free agent.
He’s not expected to return to the Pistons after they picked up three guards in last week’s draft and gave one of them Blalock’s jersey number. It seems probable Blalock will have to head to Europe to earn another shot at the NBA.

The Nets have waived guards Will Blalock and Bennett Davis and forward Brian Hamilton. The team’s roster now stands at the NBA limit of 15 players.
Blalock, Davis and Hamilton each signed as free agents in late September. Blalock appeared in four preseason games, averaging a point and 1.5 rebounds. David and Hamilton each played in one preseason game.

The Pistons signed guard Will Blalock to a contract on Monday.
Detroit took him with the 60th and final pick of last month’s NBA draft and he averaged 15.4 points and 6.1 assists in 30 games for Iowa State last season. He’s just hoping to make the team as a third-string point guard, so he won’t have any fantasy value this season.

Rookie Will Blalock has started the season on the Pistons’ inactive list.
Flip Saunders thought about keeping him active in favor of Ronald Dupree, but opted for the size. Expect Blalock to see time in the NBDL this season.

Rookie Will Blalock is expected to spend the season in the NBDL.
He may be joined by Amir Johnson, taking the Pistons down to 12 players on the active roster. If that happens, Detroit is expected to add a player before the end of camp, possibly trying to pluck a veteran point guard off the waiver wire.
  • Power Forward #5
Amir Johnson has been recalled from the D-League to return to practicing with the Pistons.
Johnson was sent down because the Pistons weren’t going to have much practice time, and in the six games he was with Sioux Falls, he shot well (53.4 percent) while averaging almost 18 points, over seven boards and over three blocks per game. Assuming Detroit can get in enough practice time, Johnson will stick with the big club. Otherwise the Pistons will send him down again. Will Blalock might also be sent out at some point.
  • CHA Shooting Guard
Will Blalock, recently sent down to the D-League, enjoyed a strong debut on Tuesday with six points, seven boards and four assists.
Stuck on the bench of a very deep Detroit team, this is a good opportunity for Blalock to get some valuable experience.
