Dolphins signed OT Cedric Ogbuehi, formerly of the Jets, to a contract.
The Jets re-signed Ogbuehi less than a month ago, only to release him days after the NFL Draft. A former first-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2015, Ogbuehi started seven games for the Jets last season, allowing 14 pressures and one sack while receiving a 57.0 pass block grade from PFF. Ogbuehi is now on his fourth team in five years, and will serve as added depth on the Dolphins’ offensive line if he’s able to earn a roster spot.

  • Jets released OT Cedric Ogbuehi.
They had just re-signed him before the draft, so apparently the Jets are happy with what they see out of Max Mitchell, Billy Turner, and Carter Warren early. Ogbuehi will try to find a different place to be functional tackle depth in 2023.

  • Jets re-signed OT Cedric Ogbuehi.
He’ll again operate as a depth option after starting five games last season during New York’s injury crunch at tackle. The Jets will hope to not need to use him that often again. Ogbuehi has played at least 50 snaps in every season of his career to date.

  • Jets OT Cedric Ogbuehi (groin) left Week 12’s game against the Bears and did not return.
We were as surprised as you were to find out that Ogbuehi was still starting NFL games. Such is the state of the Jets backup tackle depth chart behind Mekhi Becton and George Fant. Max Mitchell took his place at right tackle.

  • Jets signed OT Cedric Ogbuehi.
With LT George Fant “day-to-day” with a knee injury after leaving Week 3’s game in the third quarter, the Jets are officially Down Bad at tackle. Mike Remmers was signed to the practice squad, now Ogbuehi joins a depth chart that also includes Conor McDermott and Max Mitchell. If Fant can’t suit up, the team will be without both their top two tackles entering camp, Fant and Mekhi Becton, as well as highly-paid replacement Duane Brown.

  • Texans signed OT Cedric Ogbuehi to a one-year contract.
Ogbuehi hasn’t started more than 10 games in a season since 2017 and has bounced between the Jaguars, Seahawks, and Ravens without getting much playing time. Reunited with former OL coach George Warhop in Houston, Ogbuehi figures to be veteran depth for Tytus Howard, Charlie Heck, and Laremy Tunsil if Tunsil is not traded.

  • Ravens waived OT Cedric Ogbuehi.
Ogbuehi had already been ruled out of Week 13 because of a thigh injury. The offensive tackle played in just two games with the Ravens after starting the year with the Seahawks. He could land as veteran depth somewhere else once he is healthy.

  • Seahawks released OT Cedric Ogbuehi.
Ogbuehi opened the year on injured reserve with a biceps injury and only appeared in one game after being activated. He started at right tackle in Week 4 but was a healthy scratch by Week 6. Ogbuehi has experience at left and right tackle plus 30 career starts. However, only five of those starts have come in the past four years. His days as a starting option should be at an end but he will likely sign as a depth option somewhere else in the coming weeks.

  • Seahawks placed OT Cedric Ogbuehi on injured reserve with a biceps injury.
In theory, Ogbuehi could return in three weeks, but his season will be over if his biceps is torn. Either the Seahawks’ No. 3 or 4 tackle, Ogbuehi made four starts in 2020.

  • Seahawks re-signed OT Cedric Ogbuehi.
Ogbuehi played 277 snaps as the Seahawks’ swing tackle across eight games last season, his first with the team after a stint in Jacksonville. He flamed out as the Bengals’ first-round pick in 2015 but has found a spot with the Seahawks as a reserve.
