ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Saints interviewed Eagles RB coach Jemal Singleton for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Singleton first joined the NFL ranks in 2016 as the Colts running backs coach. He’s since held the same title for the Raiders (2018), Bengals (2019 to 2020), and Eagles (2021 to present), and he has also been the Eagles’ assistant head coach since 2021. According to Schefter, an Eagles official said Singleton was “a big part of what we do on offense and a rising star going forward.” It goes without saying that his relationship to head coach Kellen Moore, who he worked with in 2024, could give him an inside edge to secure the Saints’ OC role.
