Titans are unlikely to sign veteran receiver Kevin Dyson before the Miami game.
''He passed the physical and we haven’t made a decision yet on it,’' Fisher said.Fisher said discussions were to continue last night and perhaps into today. If Dyson is on the roster Sunday, his base salary for the year would be guaranteed because he is a four-year veteran.Tennessee could conceivably sign him Monday, then have him until their injury questions are resolved, paying him only for the weeks he is with the team.

Kevin Dyson passed his physical with the Titans.
Although coach Jeff Fisher has not said he is signed yet, it appears as if Dyson could be returning to his former team.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Wide receiver Kevin Dyson auditioned for the Panthers today.
No word on if Dyson will be signed.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
    Chargers released WR Kevin Dyson.
Many instant evaluators over the summer pegged Dyson as the Chargers No. 1 receiver. But the journeyman has never recovered from his injuries in Tennessee and may be finished in the NFL. Eric Parker will start opposite a rotation of No. 2 receivers to open the season.

The Dolphins are reportedly interested in signing Kevin Dyson.
It’s not a good sign when you are signing San Diego’s wide receiver leftovers.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Kevin Dyson may have lost his starting job in San Diego with a weak preseason.
It appears Eric Parker, Kassim Osgood, and possibly Tim Dwight are ahead of Dyson on the depth chart.

Redskins released WR Kevin Dyson, OL Jon Alston, OL Tyler Lenda, OL Mark Wilson, TE Robert Johnson, WR Jimmy Farris, WR Jamin Elliott, WR Rich Parson, LB Aki Jones, LB Brandon Barnes, DB Rufus Brown, DB Eric Joyce, DB Siddeeq Shabazz, DB Garnell Wilds, DB, DE Ron Warner, and P Chris Mohr.
It’s safe to stick two forks and a knife in Dyson’s career. Warner is the only other surprise here: He played a lot for Washington’s surprising D-line last season.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Redskins signed WR Kevin Dyson, formerly of the Chargers, to a one-year contract.
We thought Dyson’s career had ended. He could not crack a weak Chargers receiver group last year despite being healthy. While not a fantasy option, perhaps this paves the way for Rod Gardner’s release.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
The Redskins may have interest in giving WR Kevin Dyson a chance to play for their team.
Dyson was released by the Chargers before the start of last season and didn’t play one down in 2004. If he couldn’t be useful at WR for San Diego last year, his skills must have diminished significantly.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Chargers signed wide receiver Kevin Dyson, who had been with the Panthers, to a one-year contract.
Dyson should competing for a starting job in San Diego, but after missing much of the last two seasons, he’ll need to have a strong training camp to enter 2004 as a sleeper.
