  • NYG Defensive Back #22
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Giants signed S Elijah Campbell, formerly of the Dolphins.
Campbell played just 16 defensive snaps last season, allowing a 17-yard reception on the lone target thrown into his coverage. He logged 184 special teams snaps and earned a career-best 72.6 PFF special teams grade. He will likely contribute in a similar manner in New York.
  • NYG Safety #27
Giants signed S Jason Pinnock, formerly of the 49ers, to a one-year, $1.2 million contract.
Pinnock was with the Giants from 2022 to 2024 and now returns to the team that gave him his first crack as a full-time starter. The veteran safety spent last season with the 49ers, starting seven of the 17 games he appeared in while totaling 41 tackles and one TFL. In his previous two seasons, Pinnock started all 32 games he appeared in, amassing over 160 tackles while also totaling five sacks and two interceptions over that span. Pinnock could get a chance to reprise his role as a starter for the Giants under John Harbaugh this upcoming season.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #19
Giants signed WR Calvin Austin, formerly of the Steelers, to a one-year contract.
Signing Austin gives the Giants a diminutive slot receiver to replace their former diminutive slot receiver, Wan’Dale Robinson, who signed with the Titans in free agency. Austin is far less accomplished, though, having never once produced 600 receiving yards in a single season. Austin can earn up to $4.5 million this year. It would be unsurprising to see the Giants add another slot receiver via free agency or the 2026 NFL Draft for competition.
  • NYG Tackle #73
Giants re-signed OL Evan Neal to a one-year contract.
Most Giants beat writers spent the last four months of Evan Neal’s rookie contract outright laughing at the idea that he’d return. But there’s something about Joe Schoen’s sweet voice. Or maybe the realities of NFL life. Or maybe nobody else gave him an offer. Anyway, here’s Evan Neal, apparently back with the Giants as a backup on the offensive line for another season.
  • NYG Linebacker #46
Giants re-signed LB Zaire Barnes on a one-year, $1.55 million contract.
Barnes appeared in 11 games for the Giants in 2025, one of which was a start. He appeared in only four games during his rookie season with the Jets before missing the entirety of 2024 with injury. He returns to the Giants on another prove-it deal almost assuredly buried on the depth chart.
  • NYG Fullback #42
Giants agreed to terms with FB Patrick Ricard, formerly of the Ravens, on a two-year, $8.5 million contract.
Harbaugh has wasted no time getting the band back together in New York, with several former Ravens making the trek north. Ricard only touched the ball twice in 2025, though he logged 274 offensive snaps in total because of his utility as a blocker. He also sees the occasional special teams snap. Ricard’s role has shrunk in recent years, but he still plays a part in what Harbaugh wants his offense to look like. Even with Matt Nagy calling the plays in New York, expect the Giants’ offense to export plenty of recent Baltimore concepts in 2026.
  • NYG Kicker #7
Giants agree to terms with K Jason Sanders, formerly of the Dolphins, on a one-year contract.
The financial terms were not immediately made available. Sanders kicked for the Dolphins for seven years before being unable to kick in 2025 due to a hip injury. A career 84.6% field goal conversion rate is tied for 27th all time in the NFL, Sanders has the chance to stick with the Giants on a long term deal should he find similar successes in 2026.
  • PIT Punter #15
Steelers agreed to terms with P Cameron Johnston, formerly of the Giants, on a one-year contract.
It’s a reunion for Johnston, who played for the Steelers in 2024 before splitting time with the Bills and Giants last season. The Australian punter appeared in just four games last season and averaged 44.5 yards per punt while landing 18.2 percent of his kicks inside his opponent’s 20-yard line. Johnston will likely compete to earn the punting job in training camp.
  • NYG Cornerback #23
Giants re-signed exclusive right free agent Art Green.
Primarily a contributor to special teams, Green provides big-bodied depth at corner and has familiarity with head coach John Harbaugh. His six tackles on special teams in 2025 ranked second on the team despite playing in only 11 games.
  • NYG Linebacker #41
Giants re-signed LB Micah McFadden to a one-year contract.
McFadden appeared in just one game last season after suffering a foot injury in Week 1. The four-year linebacker has started 36 of the 48 games he has appeared in for his career and posted back-to-back 100-plus tackle seasons in 2023 and 2024 while amassing 20 TFLs, six pass breakups, and five fumble recoveries over that span. Now back with the team for 2026, McFadden will have a chance to show what he can contribute under new head coach John Harbaugh in hopes of earning a bigger deal next offseason.
