It looks like it’s time for another review of offseason practice film by the NFL and/or the NFLPA.

At Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp in Flowery Branch, Georgia, Falcons defensive end John Abraham took issue with a low block from undrafted rookie tight end Adam Nissley. And so, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Abraham ripped the rookie’s helmet off.

“What the [expletive] is wrong with you?” Abraham said.

Though the players were quickly separated, the low block that preceded Abraham’s action possibly crossed the no-contact line -- especially since there should be no live blocking at all. And thus there should have been nothing to get Abraham sufficiently upset to rip off a guy’s helmet.

For Abraham, it was a rude welcome to offseason practices. He stayed away from the voluntary OTA sessions, but he reported for the mandatory minicamp.
