The Cleveland Browns first traded down, then traded up, then selected Baylor’s big defensive tackle, Phil Taylor.

After getting a bounty of picks from the Falcons to move down from No. 6 o No. 27, the Browns engineered a trade with the Chiefs to move up to No. 21. That’s where they took Taylor, who will be a significant presence in the middle of the defensive line.

The Browns gave up their third-round pick, No. 70 overall, to complete the trade.

The 6-foot-3, 338-pound Taylor is a run stuffer who can take on double teams, and who should make an instant impact in Cleveland.
