Aqib Talib has spoken with police in shooting case

With the furor over Bucs cornerback Aqib Talib’s involvement in a Texas shooting picking up steam, Talib is doing what he can to cooperate with the investigation into the case.

“He is cooperating,’' Garland police spokesman Joe Harn told Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times. “He came and met with [detectives] a little bit the other day.’’

The police said previously that they would likely decide whether to charge Talib in the case by the end of the week. He’s accused of shooting and attempting to pistol-whip his sister’s boyfriend.
