The Bills have begun signing draft picks.
Buffalo announced deals with Florida State tight end Nick O’Leary (Round Six) and Central Arkansas wide receiver Dezmin Lewis (Round Seven) on Tuesday afternoon.
O’Leary hauled in 48 passes for 618 yards and six touchdowns for the Seminoles in 2014, winning the John Mackey Award as college football’s best tight end. He could provide depth in Year One for a Buffalo tight end corps with a new top target in ex-Dolphin Charles Clay.
Lewis racked up 2,618 yards receiving and 24 TDs in four seasons at Central Arkansas. At 6-foot-4, Lewis is the tallest of the 13 receivers on Buffalo’s roster.
The signings of O’Leary and Lewis leave the Bills with four unsigned draft choices, most notably second-round pick Ronald Darby, a cornerback from Florida State.
