Jamie Dukes of NFL Network has dropped a hint, Twitter style, that big news might soon be emerging from Broncos’ camp.
Specifically, Dukes says there’s a “BOMBSHELL ALERT COMING OUT OF DENVER.”
Dukes later offered this clue: “No one died if that’s what you’re worried about but i just don’t know what they are thinking.”
He also says that “Jason LaCanfora is working the story and will be posting it on his blog late tonight.”
Our guess is that the Broncos are either trading Brandon Marshall or taking some sort of action against him based on the perception that he’s in some way embellishing an injury that has kept him out of action for most of camp.
It’s also possible that they are signing Brett Favre.
We haven’t asked Jay Glazer to make a prediction on that one.
Yet.
The only thing about which we’re reasonably certain at this point is that La Canfora had better get his ass in gear, because thanks to Dukes the fox hunt is on.
