Browns undrafted free agents

Like every other team in the NFL, the Browns were busy signing undrafted free agents in the moments directly preceding and following the end of the seventh round.

Unlike most other teams, however, Mike Holmgren and company uncovered a prospect from the locale of Windsor, Ontario, not a traditional hotbed of NFL activity. That’s where 6-8, 320-pound offensive lineman Joel Reinders attended the University of Waterloo. Reinders has only played football for two years, but his size is obviously a big mitigating factor.

The rest of the Browns signees are defensive end Auston English, Oklahoma; tackle Casey Bender, San Diego State; linebacker Jon Dempsey, Louisville; cornerback Chris Chancellor, Clemson; tight end Troy Wagner, Indiana and defensive end Willie Walker from California (PA).
