The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed tight end Kellen Winslow to a six-year, $36.1 million contract extension that carries a maximum value of $42.1 million if incentive clauses are achieved, according to a league source. Per Mike Florio, Winslow is due a $5.17 million base salary in 2009 that is fully guaranteed for skill, injury, and salary cap. In 2010, Winslow is due a $6.725 million base salary that is guaranteed for skill and injury, but not for cap reasons. In 2011, Winslow is due to make an $8.29 million base salary. That contract figure is only guaranteed for injuries.
