Buccaneers’ Winslow Not Injured

Updating an earlier report that tight end Kellen Winslow didn’t participate in a minicamp practice that raised concerns given Winslow’s significant injury history, Pewter Report is reporting that Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris said Winslow simply decided not to take part in the voluntary workout and isn’t hurt. “This is a voluntary deal,” Morris said. “Guys are working. They practice when they can. Kellen didn’t practice today. He attended and was great. He bounced around was listening attentively. “He did everything he needed to do. He came to the meeting. He’s been great since he’s been here and very positive. I’m just happy he’s here. It has nothing to do with health. It’s a voluntary deal and Kellen didn’t go today.” The Buccaneers acquired Winslow in a trade from the Cleveland Browns. It’s reportedly unclear if Winslow plans to practice on Thursday.
