The revolution will be televised!

Well, the Buccaneers’ return to Monday Night Football will be, anyway. A team spokesman has confirmed to PFT that the Buccaneers have sold out the stadium for the team’s first Monday nighter since December of 2008. The game against the Colts will be seen in Tampa as a result, ending a streak of 10 straight blackouts of home games for the club.

It is the first home Monday night game for the Bucs since 2003, when they took on the Colts in Tony Dungy’s first game back after being fired after the 2001 season. Their coach in that game, which they lost 38-35 in overtime, was Jon Gruden. And Gruden will be calling Monday night’s game for ESPN.

The Bucs will play in prime time again on December 17th when they host the Cowboys on a Saturday night.
