Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman better hope the Bucs front office knows what they are doing.
After losing Antonio Bryant this offseason, the Bucs are hoping to start two rookie wide receivers: second-round pick Arrelious Benn and fourth-round pick Mike Williams. (No pressure, guys.)
Benn is already penciled in to a starting job. Williams will have to earn it, but G.M. Mark Domenik and coach Raheem Morris have both said multiple times they are hopeful Williams will start this year. The St. Petersburg Times guesses Williams will get the job from day one.
Williams is extremely talented, but has off-field concerns after essentially quitting on his college team. Instead of bringing him along slowly, the Bucs need him to be ready to produce right away.
Dominik is also counting on his two rookie defensive tackles to start. He needs to nail these four picks or the Bucs will be picking in the top-three again next year.
