The Broncos have become far more than the Peyton Manning show this year, and the guy responsible for that is getting some recognition.
Running back C.J. Anderson was named AFC offensive player of the week for his huge part in last week’s blowout of the Raiders.
He’s the fourth different Bronco to win the award this year (along with Manning, Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas), which is much of the reason the Broncos have the weekend off before seeing who they play in the divisional round.
Anderson carried 13 times for 87 yards, and scored three touchdowns. It was his second three-score game of the season.
