Cary Williams on Andre Johnson: “He’s not the same guy”
The Eagles beat the Texans in Houston on Sunday. And Philadelphia cornerback Cary Williams regards Houston receiver Andre Johnson as a beaten man.
“He’s not the same guy,” Williams said after the game, according to Matt Hammond of SportsRadio 610 in Houston. “Not the same guy.”
The difference wasn’t Johnson’s ability as much as it was his attitude.
“I don’t know if he’s happy,” Williams said. “I”m not sure. I know he had some disputes before the season in a couple years now.
“But I know Andre Johnson. I know what he’s done over his career. Just the attitude. It just wasn’t the same.”
Johnson had two catches for 12 yards this year. For the season, he has 48 catches for 563 yards and only one touchdown.
