Chris Harris will remain in Denver.

Harris, a restricted free agent cornerback, signed his tender today. That means he’ll play the 2014 season for the Broncos at a salary of $2.187 million.

“I’m just glad to get it over with and be able to know I’ll be here one more year,” Harris told the team’s website. “I’m definitely happy. This is where I want to be and to be able to play here another year, I’m all in to be a leader on the defense and get us back to the Super Bowl.”

Harris was a starter for the entire 2013 regular season but suffered a torn ACL in the divisional round of the playoffs and missed the AFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl. If Harris makes a complete recovery he’ll start opposite Aqib Talib this season.
