The Colts signed guard/tackle Andy Alleman Saturday morning, according to Scout’s Adam Caplan.
Indianapolis has limitations on who it can sign because of the “Final Eight” rules. However, the team is free to sign restricted free agents that were not tendered contracts elsewhere, as Florio pointed out in his “20 questions about the uncapped year” opus.
Alleman, who has started seven games in three NFL seasons, was not offered a deal by the Chiefs earlier this week.
