Patriots rookie cornerback Cyrus Jones was not fined for his actions in last week’s win at Cleveland, PFT has learned.

Jones was ejected from the game in the third quarter for throwing punches at Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins. The lack of a fine indicates that further review of the play might have shown that Jones wasn’t really throwing punches.

Hawkins beat Jones for a touchdown early in the game, but the Patriots went on to score a comfortable victory.
