Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith was due to be in court on February 17 to face a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, but that date’s been stricken from the calendar.

Smith was charged after an incident at a restaurant in July when Smith refused police instructions to leave a bathroom where he said he was helping an apparently intoxicated woman vomit into a sink. The woman was later charged with cocaine possession after police found the drug in her bag and Smith was arrested, cited and released after resisting repeated requests to step aside.

“Jimmy is thrilled to put this case behind him,” his attorney Warren Alperstein said to the Baltimore Sun. “It’s a relief for him to have this over with.”

With the court case out of the way, Smith can put his full attention on rehabbing the Lisfranc injury that led him to surgery and injured reserve last season. Smith is expected to start running soon and should be good to go when the team resumes practice work this year.
