Dolphins Sign Two Receivers

The Dolphins drafted two wide receivers over the weekend, but they aren’t done adding players at the position. The team signed a pair of undrafted free agent receivers on Tuesday, according to Harvey Fialkov of the Sun-Sentinel. Chris Williams is New Mexico State’s all-time career leader in receiving yards with 3,555. He also holds the school record with 32 career touchdown catches, and was an All-WAC selection after an 86 catch, 1,271 yard senior season. Williams’ size may have contributed to the draft passing him by. At 5'8" and 163 pounds, he may have slipped under the radars of many teams. The Dolphins also signed Tulsa product Brennan Marion, whose draft status was hampered by a torn ACL on the last play of the Conference USA title game. He wasn’t able to participate in drills at the Combine, but Fialkov reports he ran a 4.52 40 at a workout in Dallas last month.
