Cornerback Dunta Robinson, slapped with the franchise tag in February but to date unsigned, plans to sign his one-year offer and report to the team on Sunday, according to the Houston Chronicle.
“I’ve been working hard, and I’m ready to go,” Robinson said. “I don’t know what they’ll have me do tomorrow, but I think they will mostly look to see where I’m at physically.
“But I’ll be on the field for the next practice.”
Since he signed before Week One, Robinson will make the full amount of his $9.957 million salary, and he will be subjected to no fines because he was not under contract during his holdout.
