It’s no secret that the Eagles need linebackers who can shed blocks and make tackles. They’ve been showing interest in one candidate recently.

Per Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com, Philadelphia worked out veteran free agent linebacker Ben Leber this week. Leber has played all three linebacker positions during his career.

The former longtime Minnesota Viking is 33 years old and was released by the St. Louis Rams in December, so the Eagles would likely view Leber strictly as a versatile backup option.
