Eric Wright fined for showing too much knee

Cornerback Eric Wright is the latest member of the team to face a fine. This time around, the bill has been prepared and submitted to him not by coach Eric Mangini but by the league office.

Wright posted earlier today on his Twitter page a message indicating that he has been fined $5,000 for wearing pants that didn’t cover his knee.

He has since deleted several tweets related to the fine, but they live under his Twitter name (ithinkurwright) at Tweleted.com.

Here’s the one in which he broke the news: “‘Your pants failed to cover the knee area’... Wow jus steal 5 stacks from me .. Smh .. Hope I dont get fined for this tweet on top of that. lol”

Later he said this: “Uhh I think theres a rule about talkin bout this stuff so lets jus forget I even said ne thing bout it.. LMFAO!! Boooy they gone get me! Lol”

Though we thought he was kidding, Wright apparently decided that the smart move would be to delete the tweets.

Actually, the smart move would have been to never post them in the first place.
