When Brian Finneran joined the Atlanta Falcons, Chris Chandler was the quarterback, Jamaal Anderson was the running back, and Dan Reeves was the coach.
Now Finneran will get a chance to make the Falcons for the eleventh straight season.
D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution tweets that Finneran signed a one-year deal to return to the team. The 34-year-old caught only 11 passes last season before tearing his PCL.
Finneran isn’t guaranteed to make the Falcons roster, though. He’s behind Roddy White, Michael Jenkins, and Harry Douglas on the depth chart. He’ll have to fend off any further depth to the position Atlanta adds this offseason.
