Giants announce successful ACL surgery for Daniel Jones

After tearing his ACL earlier this month, quarterback Daniel Jones has taken another step in his process to get back on the field.

“Daniel Jones underwent successful surgery this morning to repair his ACL,” the Giants announced on Wednesday. “The procedure was performed by Dr. Scott Rodeo at Hospital for Special Surgery.”

Jones suffered the injury during New York’s 30-6 loss to Las Vegas on Nov. 5. Jones also dealt with a neck injury this season that sidelined him for multiple games.

In six starts, Jones completed 67.5 percent of his passes for 909 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions. He also rushed for 206 yards with a TD.

The No. 6 overall pick of the 2019 draft, Jones has completed 64.3 percent of his career throws for 12,512 yards with 62 touchdowns and 40 picks. He has a career passer rating of 85.2.
