With the Panthers surprising (for now) the Falcons in Charlotte, leading 14-10 in the second quarter, the home team got a bit of bad news moments ago.
Left tackle Jordan Gross was carted off with an injury.
Gross was replaced by Travelle Wharton, who was flagged for holding on the very next play.

UPDATE: Per Darrin Gantt of the Rock Hill Herald, Gross has an ankle injury and will not return.
