In the offseason, defensive tackle Hollis Thomas received an eight-game suspension for violating the league’s policy regarding performance-enhancing substances. At one point, he indicated an intention to play for the UFL.
Instead, he served his time. On Tuesday, the suspension was lifted. On the same day, he tried out with the Seahawks, per a league source.
Joining him were defensive end Jay Richardson and center Chris White.
Thomas, 36, started 13 games in 2009 with the Panthers. He also has played for the Eagles (10 years), the Saints (three years), and the Rams (one year).
