Illegal hit injures Niles Paul

Paul

Late in the first half of Thursday night’s game, Washington tight end Niles Paul caught a pass and then was crunched between a pair of Giants defenders. A helmet-to-helmet hit from safety Will Demps drew a flag -- and also knocked Paul out of the game.

He laid on the ground for several minutes before being walked slowly to the locker room.

Paul made the catch, hit the ground, and lost the ball. Replay review overturned the ruling of an incomplete pass.

The Giants lead 24-7, fueled by a trio of touchdowns from tight end Larry Donnell.
