IT’S PFT ON PFP TIME AGAIN

It’s Friday night, and this means that it’s time to check your local FSN listings for Pro Football Preview, featuring a weekly cameo from yours truly. This week, co-host Eddie George declares that Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is the NFL’s MVP. “He is the best player on the best defense in the league,” George says. But Hayneworth could lose some votes to Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. “This guy’s a mutant,” says co-host Jay Glazer. “He’s a predator. He’s not from this planet.” As to a former league MVP, George predicts that the end of the road could be coming. “[The Chargers] are going to make a transition from L.T. in the near future,” George says. “He’s not getting any younger. They’re going to say his skills are diminishing. They’re going to make a succession plan.” In most markets, the show can be seen twice on Fridays, twice on Saturdays, and once on Sundays. We suggest watching it all five times.
