Linebacker Myles Jack is the latest 2016 draft pick to sign a contract with the Jaguars.

The Jaguars announced that Jack signed his four-year deal with the team on Friday. With Jack under contract, first-round cornerback Jalen Ramsey, third-round defensive end Yannick Ngakoue and fourth-round defensive tackle Sheldon Day are the only Jacksonville picks still unsigned.

Jack was considered one of the top defensive players in the draft, but concerns about his knee and the possibility that he will need microfracture surgery at some point in the future left him to hang around until the Jags plucked him with the 36th overall pick. Those concerns are about what might happen over time, however, and the Jaguars expect Jack to play a role on defense for them during the 2016 season.

Jack’s drop in the draft cost him some money in the short term. If he does as well as many think he will do and his health holds up, however, Jack will be in position to become a free agent a year earlier than this year’s first-round picks because his contract has no option for a fifth season.
