A tailback and a wide receiver are among the Patriots’ inactives for Thursday night’s game vs. the Jets.
Rookie running back James White and wideout Aaron Dobson are healthy scratches for New England (4-2). With White out, Brandon Bolden, Shane Vereen and Jonas Gray are the Patriots’ three active backs. Gray was promoted from the practice squad earlier Thursday.
At wideout, the Patriots have Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Brandon LaFell, Matt Slater and Brian Tyms active.
The Patriots’ other inactives are cornerback Malcolm Butler (healthy scratch), offensive lineman Dan Connolly (concussion), safety Nate Ebner (finger), offensive tackle Cameron Fleming (finger) and center Bryan Stork (concussion).
The Jets (1-5) announced the following inactives: defensive lineman T.J. Barnes, offensive guard Dakota Dozier, offensive lineman Wesley Johnson, wide receiver Chris Owusu, linebacker Trevor Reilly (knee), wide receiver Greg Salas (wrist / ankle) and defensive back Josh Thomas.
