Last year, we posted On Our Way Home on PFT, one chapter at a time. It eventually went back into the vault until the 2023 Christmas season.
This year, we made On Our Way Home available in ebook or print, with all proceeds going to my local animal shelter. As the holidays approach their conclusion, I need to decide whether to put On Our Way Home back on ice until next November.
On one hand, the Christmas setting means it should packed up and put away like the decorations that are already feeling a little stale, even though it’s still December. On the other hand, the story has relevance at any time of the year, Christmas or not. It’s more of a ghost story than a Christmas story.
