Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus will get his day in court, right before the start of the regular season.
According to Ed Drantch of WIVB in Buffalo, Dareus will have a non-jury trial on street racing charges on Sept. 9.
That’s the Tuesday before the start of the regular season.
Drantch also reports that a plea deal was offered, but not immediately accepted.
Dareus has also applied for pre-trial intervention on drug possession charges as well.
The combined weight of the charges could result in a suspension, even without a conviction.
