Moss told teammates Galea treated him, but not with HGH

Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss has reportedly told teammates that he was treated by Dr. Anthony Galea, who has been charged with illegally smuggling and supplying human growth hormone. But Moss said Galea’s treatments did not include the use of HGH.

Moss has declined to talk to the media about Galea. But Redskins defensive end Phillip Daniels says Moss told teammates that he received three treatments from Galea or one of his associates -- and that Moss denied using human growth hormone.

Daniels says Moss told him the treatment from Galea did not involved any banned substances, and Daniels adds that he believes Moss is “telling us the truth.”

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said he met with Moss this morning and added, “I feel very good about where he’s at. I feel very good that he will be . . . when people find out the facts, everything will be OK.”
