The NFL continues its assault on modified facemasks, this time forcing players to obtain a doctor’s note if they want to sport anything besides the standard mask. Mike Florio says the NFL allegedly is doing this to keep players from feeling invincible behind the facemask and thus limit the frequency of helmet-first collisions.
