The Packers made it clear they weren’t happy with their running game.
And apparently, that goes beyond Eddie Lacy being fat.
According to Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Packers have fired running backs coach Sam Gash.
A two-time Pro Bowler as a fullback with the Ravens, Patriots and Bills, Gash was in his second year on the Packers staff. He had previously spent five years with the Lions as running backs coach.
Head coach Mike McCarthy indicated there might be changes coming, and that he’d continue to call plays moving forward.
