Two days ago, Kenbrell Thompkins was a Patriot. Now, he’s a Raider.
Per a league source, the Raiders claimed the former Patriot on waivers after he was surprisingly released by the team on Saturday.
Undrafted in 2013, Thompkins appeared in 13 games with eight starts as a rookie. He caught 32 passes for 466 yards and four touchdowns.
In 2014, he started for the Patriots in Week One against the Dolphins, catching five passes for 37 yards. He then appeared in New England’s Week Three win over the Raiders, catching one pass for 16 yards.
