The Rams have released a pair of offensive linemen this offseason and they added one to bolster their numbers up front on Wednesday.

The team announced that they have signed Garrett Reynolds.

Reynolds spent the 2014 season in Detroit, where he played 10 games and saw time at right guard and right tackle. The 2009 fifth-round pick played for the Falcons for the first five seasons of his career and spent most of his time at guard.

Reynolds played for current Rams offensive line coach Paul Boudreau from 2009-2011 when Boudreau held the same job in Atlanta, which likely helped make the connection with St. Louis.

The Rams cut tackle Jake Long and center Scott Wells while right tackle Joe Barksdale and interior lineman Tim Barnes are free agents, so they’ll need depth at the very least heading into next season.
