Rams tweak Washington with captain choices

Fisher

The Rams have fashioned an in-house motto based on the notion of dominating with draft picks acquired from Washington in connection with the Robert Griffin III trade. On Sunday, the Rams trotted many of those picks out to the middle of the field before dominating Washington.

Via Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, the St. Louis ceremonial captains for the 24-0 win were six of the players acquired with draft picks obtained in the trade that allowed Washington to move up four spots in the first round of the 2012 draft.

The captains were receiver Stedman Bailey, cornerback Janoris Jenkins, defensive tackle Michael Brockers, running back Zac Stacy, tackle Greg Robinson, and linebacker Alec Ogletree.

Coach Jeff Fisher was not asked about the gesture in his post-game press conference.
