A few months ago, it was hard to imagine the Dolphins not finishing in last place in the AFC East.

It was also hard to imagine Reggie Bush turning into one of the most consistent running backs in football, but that’s what he’s been over the last two months.

Bush ripped off 25 runs for 203 yards, including an 86-yard touchdown against the Bills. Bush has run well inside, outside, and even broke through a few tackles on Sunday against Buffalo.

Bush’s turnaround, like the Dolphins’ success, has been remarkable. Miami is 5-2 after an 0-7 start and won for interim head coach Todd Bowles in his first game.

This was Bush’s third straight game over 100 rushing yards. He had never done it back-to-back before in his career.

Buffalo has now lost seven in a row. A once-thrilling season instead has turned into perhaps the most depressing one yet in a decade full of them for the Bills.

Unlike most years, the Bills got their fans’ hopes way up this year.
