Report: Cowboys Knew That Summit Structures Had Built A Collapsed Building

Like most prudent businesses, the Dallas Cowboys did their homework before hiring Summit Structures to build an indoor practice facility. According to the Associated Press, the Cowboys learned that Summit Structures had built a similar structure that collapsed in a snow storm. And the Cowboys hired Summit Structures anyway. And the facility that Summit Structures built for the Cowboys collapsed in a thunderstorm last month. In fairness to the Cowboys, a major snowstorm isn’t a realistic concern in Dallas, notwithstanding the occasional Leon Lett-style dusting. Still, there was reason for the Cowboys to be extra careful about Summit Structures, and Summit Structures apparently said or did something to alleviate the team’s concerns.
