An occasional starter in the Philadelphia secondary is taking a free agent visit to another NFC club.

Safety Kurt Coleman, who has started 29 games in four seasons with the Eagles, is meeting with the Vikings, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old Coleman was a regular in the Eagles’ defensive backfield in 2011 and 2012. He was a reserve last season, appearing in 15 games. He notched nine special teams tackles, per Eagles statistics, but he played just 50 defensive snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. In Minnesota, Coleman would likely compete for a backup safety spot and a role as a core special-teamer.

Coleman has also drawn interest from the Colts in free agency.
