The Buccaneers are reportedly adding three players who tried out over the weekend to the roster.
According to Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune, the Bucs have reached deals with rookie wide receiver Adam Humphries and veteran offensive lineman Edawn Coughman.
Also, the Buccaneers have signed rookie wide receiver Donteea Dye, the Tampa Bay Times reported Saturday. The Tribune also reported Day’s signings.
A Clemson product, Humphries (5-11, 195) returned 31 punts for 178 yards and caught 30 passes for 204 yards as a senior.
Coughman (6-4, 313) had a nine-day stint with the Buccaneers last summer. The 26-year-old offensive lineman has also been with Seattle, Dallas, Buffalo and Washington since entering the NFL in 2012.
Dye (6-0, 195) played collegiately at Heidelberg University in Ohio, catching 57-1,022-14 in 2014.
The Buccaneers were at the 90-player roster limit entering the weekend rookie minicamp, so any signings must be accompanied by roster removals. According to Aaron Wilson of National Football Post, one of the transactions looks to be the release of second-year wide receiver/returner Solomon Patton, who appeared in seven games for Tampa Bay in 2014.
