We mentioned a few weeks back that Rams VP of Player Personnel Tony Softli was apparently on his way out of St. Louis. It’s now safe to take the “apparently” out of the previous sentence.
Howard Balzer of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat confirms Softli won’t be offered a new contract and is leaving the organization. He was given a chance to seek other jobs, but hasn’t found one yet.
Softli ultimately played a large role in perhaps the worst overall front office performance of the last five years after he was hired in 2006. Mike Williams was promoted to replace Softli.
