Steelers breaking out the prison bumblebee jerseys, again

They don’t come without a Surgeon General’s warning regarding potential rod and cone damage. But maybe they should.

Pittsburgh’s seizure-inducing alternative jerseys will make another appearance today at Heinz Field, for a game against the 6-0 Bengals. And maybe it will work; the Steelers are 3-1 in their prison bumblebee attire.

Then again, the Steelers also are 6-2 against the Bengals and quarterback Andy Dalton. Which could be far more relevant to the team’s success on Sunday than the hideous throwback jerseys.
