Cornerback Jacob Lacey, a former starter with Indianapolis and Detroit, has found his way to the Canadian Football League.
The Toronto Argonauts have signed the 27-year-old Lacey, the club said Monday.
Lacey (5-10, 183) has five NFL seasons to his credit, with stints with the Colts (2009-2011), Lions (2012) and Vikings (2013). He notched 257 tackles, defended 25 passes and hauled in six interceptions in 54 regular season games (36 starts). Lacey was not in the NFL last season.
Other players with NFL experience on the Argonauts roster include tailback Steve Slaton and offensive tackle Bruce Campbell.
