By all appearances, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will start against the Giants on Sunday, a week after suffering a concussion against the Falcons. But Eagles coach Andy Reid doesn’t want to make the Giants’ preparation any easier, and so he won’t confirm that Vick is the Eagles’ starter.

Asked after practice today whether Vick would start, Reid would say only, “He practiced.”

But there are many reasons to believe Vick is ready to go, and it’s not just that he practiced, it’s how much he practiced: The Eagles listed Vick as a full participant in today’s practice, and according to reporters on the scene, Vick took every snap with the first-string offense.

Vick isn’t talking to the media today, but he has apparently been cleared to return from his concussion and to play on Sunday against the Giants.
