Vikings pull the plug on German sixth-rounder

moritzboehringer

Unless he signs to the Vikings practice squad, Moritz Bohringer isn’t going to have to worry about walking to work.

According to Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the sixth-round pick was among the players cut when the Vikings made their moves today.

The German wideout was a longshot to begin with (having never played American college football), and could probably use the time to develop.

He has the kind of size and speed teams would look for in a prospect, but apparently couldn’t overcome the lack of experience.
